Short URL Scanner

Short URL Scanner is an extension that allows you to get a security report on The Target sites of short URLs. It uses McAfee SiteAdvisor (siteadvisor.com) to retrive these reports. You might have to restart the browser for this plugin to work correctly. Just simply Highlight the URL you need a report on, then click the browser action icon for Short URL Scanner. Wait a few seconds and an alert will come up showing if the Link is safe or not. Please note that it takes some time for the servers that the extension contacts to respond. So it might take up to 8 or more seconds sometime. Also, if it has been over 15 seconds, that means you might not have put in a valid URL. In that case, check what exactly you highlighted and try again.
