When the game allows you to one-shot kill the monsters, then it has a certain arcade appeal. When it takes more shots, the game becomes a little more boring. The graphics are about average when you consider the year it was released, and the character designs are bland-but-passable. Having a laser to aim is a good thing One of the good things that The Raiders did was to implement a laser system so that you may see where your shot is going to go. This is good because aiming is still an issue when using VR technology, and having a laser aiming system helps to remove that problem to a large extent. It is possible to become overpowered, which is a mixed bag because in the early levels it makes things boring, but it helps to remove the boredom that comes with later levels. The game could use more work and more content, so one should only consider buying it when it is on sale.
