adbLink is a rather technical program which allows users to side-load an existing Android application onto an Amazon Fire Stick. This is performed through the use of an existing IP address or a USB stick. The ultimate intention of this software is to effectively `jailbreak` the security protocols associated with the Amazon Fire Stick.Main Features and UsesadbLink will essentially bypass the traditional methods associated with loading an application onto the Amazon Fire Stick. In the past, the individual would have been required to root an Android operating system in order to gain access as a `super user`. However, this program has done away with such efforts. We should also note that while adbLink is considered to be a media player, it is possible to download other add-ons which can help to access online streaming content.Other Options and ToolsThe user can access additional options through a centralised control panel. These include (but are certainly not limited to) the ability to add an IP address, the option to select between different devices and the possibility of accessing any files currently contained within a hard drive.
