Description - Silence

Noah and his sister have ventured into a realm known as Silence. Noah has to get his sister home through a town full of dark creatures and looming menace. You have almost no way to defend yourself and your sister other than to use your wits and cunning. It is not a survival horror game; it is more of a tense adventure with danger lurking around every corner.A poorly written script that is well executedIt is hard to fault the game on how well it has been directed and how nice the game looks. However, the script was created by a poor quality writer. You may find yourself rolling your eyes at some of the shallow lines the voice actors were forced to blurt out. The backgrounds and environments look hand painted, but they have been rendered with a mix of two and three dimensions to create a very unique and artistic look. Silence offers you three playable characters, and there is around 12 hours of playable content. The music is okay with a slight nod towards being epic if it were just 1% better than it is. The gameplay itself is only around five hours if you skip through the talking and the story. In Silence there are no dialog trees, items are used automatically, and you do not have to solve puzzles. Most of the time you are required to complete quick-time events by clicking your mouse and dragging it in the right direction. Too much of the game is done for youThe developers have spent so much time on the artwork, directing and music that they forgot to make the game fun or engaging. The game is more about style over substance, but may be worth a try if you can pick it up during a sale or with a discount code.

Pros:
"The artwork is truly brilliant and stunning"
"It has a very pleasant soundtrack that is very close to being brilliant"

Cons:
"It is a very short game that most people can complete in a day"
"The game is much too easy for most gamers to enjoy"
