hotoRenamer 3.3 is a Windows Utility that rename your photos with the date and time you took the shot.

Depending on the manufacturer, when you download your photos to your PC, the FileNames look like IMG_0160.jpg, DCS014752.jpg, PIC05126.jpg, ... Some systems allow customization, some not ... When you download your pictures on your hard disk, the date and time of the files are the date and time of the shots.

To allow a better management of your favorites pictures, PhotoRenamer 3.3 provides a very easy way to rename your pictures files according to a selected renaming mask. Three Default renaming masks are available at startup and you can add up to 40 customized masks to fit your particular needs.

Furthermore, PhotoRenamer 3.3 can use either the date and time of the photo or the Exif MetaData of the photo to perform the automatic renaming.

PhotoRenamer 3.3 is a rather minor upgrade in regards of its new features but this release is Now compliant with the Windows 8 Requirements for Data and Application Installation Folders.

- Now, it`s possible to browse the pictures list using Previous and Next Buttons (instead of just the keyboard keys)

- Now, it`s possible to browse the pictures list directly in the Picture Detail View

- Possibility to Show or Hide the ToolTip Information Windows
- For experienced users, ToolTip display can be toggled at any time using a Ribbon Button in the Ribbon Tab `View`

- Correction of a Bug occurring when a USB Stick and other removable storage support is removed
