F.B. Purity for Firefox

F.B. (Fluff Busting) Purity is an anti spam, Facebook tool, in the form of a browser addon that alters your facebook homepage to show only the most relevant information to you, by filtering out the annoying and irrelevant messages in your news feed / stream, such as application spam etc, and also giving you the option to hide the boxes you dont want to see on the right hand side of the homepage. FBP is available as a browser extension and it is also available as a Greasemonkey script.

F.B. Purity can be used to display the Timeline in a single column

Simply click the "TL" button which is next to the search Box at the top of the Facebook page, and you can view all Timeline pages in a less confusing single column layout format

Hide "Read an Article" / "Trending Articles" / "Trending Videos" / Facebook Actions + Frictionless Sharing App stories

If you are not interested in what news articles others are reading, FB Purity gives you an option to hide these types of stories, this option also hides all the other FB Actions aka "frictionless sharing" app`s stories, such as "watched a video" "read a book" "pinned something to pinterest" etc.

Fixes news article links that redirect via Facebook applications

FBP has an option for fixing the news article links that redirect via Facebook applications, and instead lets you go directly to the news article, this means what you read wont show up in other peoples tickers or newsfeed, and you wont get hassled with the news organisations application page wanting you to add the application every time you click a news article Link.
