An AIR Application for both Windows and Mac OS to be able to download files from online. GetItNow Downloader is a basic file downloading application that works on both Windows and Mac OS systems. If you use Safari as your primary browser like myself, you know that it treats certain file types certain ways. So if you want to download a zip file, most of the time Safari automatically unzips the file and deletes it, leaving you with an automatically created folder. This can be annoying as you could want to keep the file as a backup or would rather just open it yourself. Other files like movies can also automatically play in Safari instead of downloading them if you have the proper video codecs installed on your system. This app lets you download any file without the need for a second Web Browser just for downloading.
