Kryptofile is a software solution that is designed to protect personal data that is stored on your PC. Unlike other security packages, Kryptofile does not use simple password Protection but instead uses Strong Encryption to make the personal data totally unreadable. Encryption is a technology that is used in military and financial systems to protect data that is being transmitted across unsecure communication channels. Military systems encrypt data before it is transmitted across the open airwaves and financial systems encrypt data before it is transmitted across the internet. In both cases the data is available and visible to anyone monitoring the transmissions but is totally secure because it is encrypted. Kryptofile uses strong encryption to encrypt data before it is saved on your PC. Once encrypted the data is unreadable and protected.
