synaptiks

synaptiks is a KDE touchpad management tool. Aside of a convenient configuration interface it can also manage the touchpad automatically and disable it, if external mouse devices are plugged in or the keyboard is active. See Changes for a list of changes.Installation The following sections describe the manual installation. You might want to check the list of Packages for binary releases.Dependencies The following libraries are required to build synaptiks: * KDE libraries and KDE base runtime 4.3 or newer (earlier releases may also work, but are untested) * libXi 1.2 or newer (part of X.org 7.5) Additionally xf86-input-synaptics 1.2 or newer must be loaded, while synaptiks is running. xf86-input-synaptics 1.0 and 1.1 might work, but are untested. xf86-input-synaptics 0.x is not supported.
