Cache Lister for WinGate

Cache Lister is an addon tool for the Gateway/proxy software WinGate.WinGate is a software package that also contains a caching HTTP proxy that is configurable in a wide range what to cache and what not. However, it does not provide any method to get a listing of the current cache contents. To fill this gap I wrote Cache Lister.It is a small console application that runs under 32 bit windows (Win9X/NT). It reads the cache index file and generates a listing of each entry in the cache. All information available in the index is included in the listing. The listing includes URL, content type, cache file name, file size, cache hits, and modification/access time. To start the program open a console window first. Then change to the directory where you installed Cache Lister in.To get help type: wgclist.exe -? The calling syntax is as follows: wgclist.exe [list output file] * cache index file (required) Specify the full path to your cache index file. This file cache.idx is in your WinGate cache directory. * list output file (optional) You may specify a file where the cache list should be written to. If this parameter is absent, the list is written to the standard output.
