File Sweeper

You can quickly locate and delete these small, annoying files with File Sweeper. Simply select the folder you would like to clean, and File Sweeper will search for any bad files. Plus, you can automatically back up any file before they are deleted to ensure that you will not need these later. To select the folder that to sweep, click `select.` Select the desired folder to sweep. If you do not want to scan any Folders within the folder you select, do not select `Scan Subfolders`. Click OK. All bad files will be displayed in the display window. By Default, all files will be selected to be deleted. To unselect an item, click on it`s name. It will no longer be displayed in bold which signifies that it will not be deleted. If you would like a backup of the files stored on the hard drive, check the `Create Backup` Box. Click `Delete`. If you selected backup, then you will be prompted to choose where to put the backup. Notice that you can create a new folder at this time. You will then be prompted with a message displaying how many files were deleted. The list will be updated. By clicking `Clear`, all the files currently in the list will be removed from the list without being deleted.
