It`s important to note that the indexing program is running on your computer, and that the database is maintained on your computer. At no point does Seruku Toolbar send information about your web browsing habits to other computers or over a network. And at no point is information about your web-surfing habits sent to Seruku. The indexing program is also careful to safeguard the database. Client programs running on other machines can`t access the database or find out information about the pages you`ve gone to. When you search for a page using Seruku Toolbar, the toolbar forwards the request to the indexing program, which builds a list of `hits` using the database. You can then either fetch the recorded page from the database or re-request the original page from the web.
