PureFTPd Manager

PureFTPd Manager is a simple Cocoa frontend to PureFTPd, "a free (BSD), secure, production-quality and standard-conformant FTP server based upon Troll-FTPd", for Mac OS X.ust a quick update to let you know that PureFTPd Manager 1.7 is out. It runs on Mac OS 10.2+ and has successfully been tested with Mac OS 10.5 (fresh install and update scenarii). I`d also like to thank you all for your Patience and all your kind emails.Cheers to you all and Merry Christmas !It`s a Minimal server (112KB) with directory aliases, virtual users, FTP/TLS capabilities and Bonjour support.It can transfer at 1.2MB/s (scp/sftp max speed is around 350KB/s).A Default certificate for FTP/TLS is installed to /etc/pureftpd.pem. You can use this one or replace it by your own self-signed certificate. The package is accessible through the Installer.app, under the Network category.People who feel clever enough to install it manually can download the archive here. I`m also working on PureFTPd Manager to make it compatible with Mac OS 10.5. More news on that later.
