JPEG Copy Assistant

JPEG Photo Assistant was designed to help police agencies in managing digital photos or at least in their Officers getting the photos from the memory cards to a hard drive. The program is configured then copied to the root directory of each memory card for use in the cameras. Officers can take photos as usual. When they come in and insert the card into a Card Reader, the program will start (or the windows menu allowing you to pick the program to start) and officers need only input the incident number, their name, and the date (if the date is the current one, it puts in in for them). The program will copy the files to a preset path as long as it`s a valid one. It can be set to rename the files sequentially or keep the names the same. The program can also be installed locally and set to show the pictures of an inserted memory card in a specific drive. This is great when you have multiple cameras and always seem to have a shortage of memory cards. A few cards can be assigned to each camera. Instead of turning the card in for download, officers simply input the information, clear the card using the program, and re-use the same card. No more hassles with Juggling cards from place to place. Many departments import the photos into laserfeich or a Similar program later. This is a great way to get the information to the secretaries without ever having them need to hanle cards. They simply open the target directory to get the photos. The directory will contain the incident number, officer, and date for them already.
