Description - Recorder Buddy

Recorder Buddy was written to help you learn to play the recorder. It teaches you both the correct fingering for each note and to read music through drills (timed or otherwise), and it can function as a notation/fingering reference. It may be configured for either an alto/treble or a soprano/descant recorder. As the first test subject, I can say that it really does work, and you certainly can`t Beat the price! FeaturesSimple to use! Configurable for either alto/treble or soprano/descant recorders. "Thumb up" or "Thumb down" fingering Diagrams. Vertical or horizontal layouts. Drill for note recognition and reading music. Printable statistics for timed drills. You set the length for timed drills. Input by front-panel buttons, keyboard, or playing your recorder into a microphone. You can select the notes to be drilled on in Note Drill and Follow Me mode. Perfect for the beginner working through a method book that introduces one note at a time. You select how each accidental is represented. For example, you may want it to show you G# and not Ab. You can also configure it to use both. Editable fingering. Occasionally a note is more accurately played on your recorder using an alternate fingering - this allows you to define the fingering for any of the notes. Free!
