1st Up Mail Server is a low cost simple to configure yet very powerful email server that has been designed for the medium sized network. It exchanges email with the internet usually via an ISP and buffers the messages read for collection by your users usual email software (MS Outlook, Eudora, Pegasus etc). It has flexible connection scheduling so that you can tune mail exchange to best suit your needs. Plus it has many features that are simply not found on more expensive email servers such as Scanner, a mechanism for reducing misuse of the email system, mail back attachment which is similar to a fax-back system only over email and Reminders which can automate sending of email at regular intervals, reminding users to submit timesheets every Friday for example.
