Description - MP3Selector - It is a small device which plugs into your car`s 12 volt receptacle.
We found a cool gadget called the vr3 "mp3 fm modulator". It is a small device which plugs into your car`s 12 volt receptacle, and incorporates a USB slot which connects to any flash memory drive up to 512MB. The unit has a built in MP3 Player and FM radio transmitter. It can play the MP3 files which are stored in the flash drive, and you hear the sound over your car`s built-in radio speakers. It works quite well, but we found that the unit doesn`t have a "shuffle play" feature which will vary the order of the songs played. That is why we wrote this Little utility to help you change the order in which the songs are played, you can manually order them, or use the "randomize" function. Re-writing the files on the flash memory drive in a new order causes the vr3 device to respect this new order during Playback. You can save your lists of files and reload them on command. This way you can keep different lists of music depending upon your taste. For example, you might wish to keep lists of songs by your favorite artist, or genre (Disco, hip-Hop,classical,etc). Also when you have grown tired of listening to the same songs after a period of time, merely, use the "randomize" function to effectively "shuffle" them into an entirely new order which will delight you once again.
