JBlogEditor

JBlogEditor is a FREE blog client to help manage blogs from the desktop. JBlogEditor uses metaWeblog and atom API to communicate with the weblog server. JBlogEditor is written in Java using the Eclipse Rich Client Platform. Some of the main features of JBlogEditor are: -Easy-to-use intuitive interface -Publish to JRoller, WordPress & Blogger services: Currently JBlogEditor supports publishing to JRoller and WordPress. We will be adding support for more blogs servers soon. -Edit existing posts: JBlogEditor allows you to fetch already published posts from the server and republish them after modifications. -Save drafts locally for future publishing: JBlogEditor allows you to save partially edited posts as a draft. -Advanced HTML tag comletion: JBlogEditor provides advanced html tag completion using the ctrl+space key stroke like most code editors. -Extensive customization ablity; JBlogEditor can be extensively customized to a users requirements. -Rich Text Formatting: Posts can be richly formatted using a variety of HTML constructs. -Support for multiple accounts; Multiple blog accounts are supported with easy switching Between accounts. -Preview posts before posting: Blog Entries can be previewed before posting. -Syntax highlighted HTML: The html code is syntax highlighted. -Find/Replace ability: JBlogEditor provided a SMART find/replace dialog. -Single and multiple Category support: Depending on the blog server, JBlogEditor supports single or multiple categories. -Common interface on multiple platforms: JBlogEditor is writen in Java using the Eclipse RCP.
