Headlander

Headliner is a title from Adult Swim games that fits into the Metroidvania subgenre of platform-adventures. With a setting influenced by 1970s sci-fi films, the game puts you in control of a head in a space helmet: the closest thing to a biological human left in a world of robots. This world is ruled over by an AI called Methuselah, who has send an army of robots out to capture you. Your job is to survive by knocking the heads off the robots and taking their bodies for yourself.
