Description - Downward Spiral: Prologue

Downward Spiral: Prologue is a thrilling and mysterious zero gravity thriller game. It’s powered by free and innovative VR movement without any motion sickness. The game draws its inspiration from the modern television series and sci-fi movies of the 1970s.GameplayThe game starts with you being positioned inside a foregone, Earth-orbiting space station. Since you are placed inside a micro-gravity environment, you must halt using your hand and push off walls to navigate forward. For stability, you would be dependent on the several button-filled consoles and hand railings. The interiors of the space station are well-polished and the locomotion scheme is quite innovative. The exploration is interesting and feels like traversing an actual space station. There are enemies and some small electric robot enemies, but it`s the atmosphere that’s the real star.ExperienceGetting used to the pushing off corridors and floating around could take some getting used to. A certain amount of practice shall sail you through. The game is a 360-degree open environment and the space floating could be stomach-turning (in a good way). Since you would be pressing illuminated switches for unlocking doors or opening cabinets to locate items, the whole campaign is fairly straightforward. The game’s latter half ushers in some action elements. The realism is praiseworthy and that shows in the shooting mechanics, wherein your shots would not always be accurate. There is some trial and error required to get things right.

Pros:
"Beautiful scene work"
"No nausea-causing moments"

Cons:
"Short-lived game (just 15 minutes)"
"Expensive at $9.99"
