Description - Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is set in a green and well-rendered medieval land, but just like in Lord Of The Rings, the sunny green game slowly descends into a muddy and dark war game where you fight increasingly larger hordes of enemy soldiers. No magic or beasts, just soldiers and bladesKingdom Come: Deliverance doesn`t follow the path of other third and first person RPGs set in medieval times because there is no magic or monsters. It is closer to playing Mount & Blade Warband than it is to playing Infinity Blade. You build skills as you do in Mount & Blade, but combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is far more difficult. For example, there are no archery aiming markers, and running into fights against more than one person is often difficult to survive (a bit like Thief 1 & 2). Learning how to time your blocks will save you stamina, which allows you to outfight and outlast a tired enemy. Treating wounds is difficult and acts as a deterrent against combat. How you act towards other characters will determine how others treat you. A difficult game that is dangerously addictiveWhat makes Kingdom Come: Deliverance so difficult is not insta-kills or nasty surprises, it is the fact that fighting and blocking requires personal skill. You have to learn how to become a good fighter within the game, which means you are responsible for your own demise in many instances. It is possible to take a less aggressive gameplay stance and last longer, or you can thrust yourself into battle and risk being killed. The game is not filled with ugly dangers that make the game too difficult to play, it is your own hubris and overconfidence that gets you killed.

Pros:
"Chained attacks help to stop fighting becoming boring"
"Difficult in the FTL way rather than the Five-Nights-At-Freddy’s way"

Cons:
"The jab to the neck move becomes very repetitive"
"Potions take away from the realism of the game"
