Pressure Overdrive is an arcade style driving game with twin stick shooting combat. Travel through five levels, blasting others off the track with a variety of upgrades and power ups while taking on the evil Count Soap.Wacky racersPressure Overdrive is a light hearted mix of Mario Kart and more serious bullet hell games, creating a unique gameplay style which is fast and furious. The plot revolves around the dastardly Count Soap from stealing the water supply. This silly theme pervades throughout the game, with a host of wacky characters and situations. Games are fought out alone or with a friend in couch co-op, using custom steam powered buggies. These buggies are upgraded with a variety of weapons and upgrades via an in-game shop. Pressure Overdrive is an updated version of an older release, but with little in the way of story or plot changes, making it less attractive for fans of the original. Despite the lack of progression, the game is a fun time waster best played with two controllers and a friend.Party gamePressure Overdrive is a clever mix of genres and a generally successful game. While there isn`t a huge amount of depth and no real new content is available, short occasional play sessions can be great.
