If you took CAD lessons, technical drawing lessons, or Information Technology classes in college, then the RightNote interface will look almost familiar. If you didn’t take these classes, then the RightNote interface may look basic and primitive. It is a very lightweight note taking and organizing tool. The programmers have concentrated more on the underlying technology and less on the look and appearance of the GUI. As a result, you may manipulate your notes in many wonderful ways, but the interface itself looks rather ugly. The tool was built to store massive amounts of complex information. RightNote is no use to people who are looking for a list-making app to take to Wal-Mart when they are shopping.
