AlFileSearch is a handy utility that anyone can use to locate one file or another using a powerful search function which can be coupled with many filters that will narrow the field of the query and yield more accurate results.
This software solution also offers a couple of customizable buttons which can be configured to perform some specific search with only One Click.
Features:
- allows you to quickly set search wildcards for some popular file formats such as image, video, audio, text, MS Word...
- use up to two customizable buttons to set your search string.
- search by the text content of the files with preview column (if available).
- if you search in your system drive you can quickly exclude from search ProgramFiles and Windows directories.
- quickly view current user`s Recent folder (view recent documets, images, etc.) (in `View Target` and `Filter by name` mode (if avaliable)) and IE Cache folder (Temporary Internet Files). View `Target` and `Start in` paths for shortcuts (*.lnk, *.url files).
