Description - Exon SDK
It is aimed to be a reliable and easy to use DirectX alternative for .NET that can be used as a core framework for game engines, prototypes or even other frameworks that support multiple platforms.
Exon is divided into multiple libraries that each support a particular API:
- Exon.Graphics - Direct3D11, Direct2D, DirectWrite, DXGI 1.1 and Effects.
- Exon.Input - simplified RawInput with pre-written Keyboard and Mouse classes.
- Exon - core Library that contains math and base types.
- Exon.Game - handles window creation, game loop and device management.
- Exon.Content - extensible library that handles the loading of assets like textures and effects.
- Exon.Audio - XACT3, including the creation and management of wave and sound banks.
