Data2Data™ is a unique program that allows you to MOVE data and data objects (tables, views, keys, and indexes) between different DBMS systems. Currently supported are: Sql Server, Oracle, MySQL, and OleDb (reading only for OleDb).
The program generates several different logs to give you a complete picture of what occured, including:
- DDL log: contains complete DDL used to create the new objects in your destination database
- Data log: contains every select and insert statement used to copy data from your source to your destination
- Error log: contains any errors thrown by your destination database when either creating data objects or copying data
