Description - Prohash
It is probably the best home CheckSum calculator ever. Computes hash values of strings & files. Supports 39 algorithms including SHA-512. Easy to use & extremely fast, especially when it comes to really big files. It is the standard option for users who need to calculate hash values regularly.
The main use of Prohash is to compute hash values of files (or strings) and compare them against known good values to make sure that your data has not been changed or corrupted. The program`s GUI is designed as simple as possible, it is extremely fast (computes 32 different hash values (including some 512-bit algorithms!!!) of a 1 GB file in something less than 5 minutes). It is a must-have utility for those to need a trustworthy tool to authenticate sensitive data.
Supported algorithms.
Palcrypt Encryption
Prohash supports all hash-algorithms that are in use today including CRC-32, ADLER-32, HAVAL-256-5 MD5, ED2K, PANAMA, RIPEMD-320, SHA-512, TIGER2, WHIRPOOL-1, GOST and all their predecessors (MD4, RIPEMD-160, SHA-1, etc)
