Description - qTrace
An Intelligent Defect Documentation Tool.
- Reduces manual documentation efforts and increase accuracy of defect description
- Shortens defect resolution time by providing more information to the bug fix team
- Complements existing ALMs and defect tracking tools
When encountering a defect that is Complex and hard to describe, testers can enhance the report by including a screenshot or a video recording. But in many instances, a screenshot is not enough and a video is too much.
qTrace provides the perfect solution by allowing testers to either Capture a single screenshot or record every screens and every step of the entire defect path. qTrace then automatically generates a descriptive defect document that contains the steps to reproduce the defect, screenshots, and system information. Testers can edit and Annotate the record and decide how much or how little information is needed. The defect document can then be directly submitted to a defect tracking system, or exported to a Word, PDF, or images.
qTrace streamlines the testing process, helping testers Create detailed and informative defect records quickly and easily.
