You develop universes with Business Objects Designer 6.5.1 and you export your universes in an Oracle repository. On the other hand, your query databases are Oracle databases too. This program is a data provider in principle equivalent to Business Objects 6.5.1 data provider, interfaced with Designer 6.5.1 and Microsoft Excel. Designer 6.5.1 provides universes design and maintenance, Microsoft Excel allows the completion of the layout and publishing. Restrictions are required in universes conception. Without offering all the possibilities offered by BO, this tool allows you to Create your queries with the same ergonomics for a single data provider, sufficient in most cases.
