Description - Easy Half Life
Easy Half Life is a computer simulation of how a scientist determines the half life of a Radioactive isotope. The program plots the decay curve of the isotope and instructs students how to use the curve to determine the half life of a series of real elements. After the demonstration phase, student progresses to a practice session in which they INVESTigate the half life of unknown isotopes. The student`s ability to determine the experimental half life is measured by a %Error Report. This is a fun way to teach half life.
