giis (gET iT i sAY) is a Linux (Ext3/Ext2) file undelete/recovery tool.Once installed, files on your hard disk can be recovered using giis.A new functionality automatically restores recovered files into it`s original directories-if path exists."But those files which are deleted before the installation of giis can`t be recovered using giis". giis for ext4 file system is now available .* Revived on my old tool,"extcarve" which is a ext2/ext3/ext4 File Recovery/Semantic File Carving tool. As of now,it can recover file formats like png,jpg,gif,pdf,C/C++ programs,PHP and html files.
