This project has born from the need to transfer all phone data (call log and SMS) from a Treo or Centro device to a personal computer in readable form. Treodesktop is a desktop application capable of understanding, importing and making available any type of phone data from any PalmOS Treo or Centro smartphone as well as any generic PalmOS device (Lifedrive, Tungsten, Z22, Zire, etc...) running the standard PalmOS Messages application. Features: *Automatic handheld detection Treodesktop is able to Detect and configure any Treo and non-Treo handheld, and auto-activate the related importing routine. *Treo messages database rebuild You can rebuild a Treo messages database ready to be synced on your Treo, for recovery or migrating purposes. *Text and RTF file exportAll data can be exported to a Plain Text file*. A formatted thread Chat can also be exported to a Rich Text Format file*. *Credit card transactions checkerYou can check your payments and Create a yearly graphic statistic from your credit card usage. *International SMS support Treodesktop can select a user codepage to decode SMS. Greek users can use mixed alphabet mode. Non-european language users (eg: chinese) can display messages in native language. *Views and cross-data searches Treodesktop allows you to execute sophisticated searches. By using the right Combination of both view and search features, it is possible to quickly find any kind of data. *Automatic data import Treodesktop imports phone data from the backup folder of the Hotsync user. Imported data will be transferred to the user database*. *Automatic name normalization Treodesktop can look for names in the user address book. Contact names can also be automatically normalized when importing data.
