Ejs Newtonian Scattering model was created using the Easy Java Simulations (Ejs) modeling tool. It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive. Double clicking the ejs_ehu_central_forces_scattering.jar file will run the program if Java is installed. Ejs is a part of the Open Source Physics Project and is designed to make it easier to access, modify, and generate computer models. Additional Ejs models for Newtonian Mechanics are available. They can be found by searching ComPADRE for Open Source Physics, OSP, or Ejs. The potential is Newtonian, V(r) = -k/r, and depending on the sign of k, it can be attractive, repulsive or null.The unit mass is chosen equal to the mass of each particle.Below you can also choose from which abscissa (x) and with which velocity (v,0,0) are sent the particles, as well as the target radius R.To get information on the other elements, put over them the mouse pointer to see the corresponding tooltip.
