Mute Flash

Mute Flash allows you to mute the Adobe Flash Player so you don`t have to mute Windows sounds. Simply press the icon in the status bar to mute and unmute flash. This is just an automated way to do this hack: http://www.erigami.com/blog/disable-sound-Firefox-ie/ Known Issues:- Works only under Windows XP- After muting Flash, Firefox needs to be restarted to apply changes.- If Firefox crashes while Flash was muted, this will affect all Profiles and Users with the same program folder. Solution: restart Firefox after a crash with the same profile. @ evaluators:Thank you for rating this addon. Unfortunately some of you seem to have some troubles. If anyone gets some error messages, please let me known them, otherwise I have no chance to fix them. I`m afraid to say that there will most probably never be a version that works without restart. This is addon does simply a hack as you can read in the description and this hack seems to work only with restart.
