RhinoTyper

RhinoTyper is a small utility for Mac OS X that allows you to edit the file types and creator codes of files. Why would you want to do that? Well, while some Mac OS X applications rely strictly on a file`s extension to determine its type, many applications still rely on and use file types and creator codes. RhinoTyper lets you edit file types and creator codes in three ways. First, you can match a file`s type and creator codes to any existing file on your computer. Second, you can choose from some common preset file types. Third, you can hand enter your own file type and creator code if you like. Version 1.1 adds the ability to set the creation and modification dates of selected files.
