The best kept secret in digital photography. PhotoClimax is a versatile tool for modifying and enhancing your digital photographs using windows. It features intuitive operation and immediate views of the original and the enhanced image to give your photographs subtle or dramatic effects normally available only with much more expensive systems. -Directories and FormatFor a photo to be edited it must be in the JPG or BMP graphic format. The directory where the photo resides is selected with the Input Directory Button. -Color IThere are several methods of adjusting color in a photo. The method most often used adjusts the color of each pixel in the photo that is already predominately the color to be changed.-Color IITo adjust the color within a particular range of colors, select one of the Change mid/Lite/Dark buttons. The range that these areas affect is determined with the Range Scroll Bar. -RicherThe Richer Button does the same function as if the Red, Green, and Blue Buttons were each pressed.-Lighter / DarkerThe Lighter Button and the Darker Button lighten or darken every pixel in a photo.-ContrastThe Contrast Button lightens the light colors and darkens the dark color. The cross over point is selected with the Contrast Scroll Bar.-Three Types of PresentationThe three presentation buttons Color / B-W / Neg. control how the photo is to be displayed. If Black/White is selected, and the photo is to be printed, there may well be some adjustment to be made. The algorithms in this software and in the printer may be different. -CropA crop function is performed by selecting that button, and by pressing the Left Mouse Button at two opposite corners of the intended representation. The crop will only be defined at the ratio of the sides as 4 by 3, or 3 by 4.-Picture WidthThe Pix. Width Button allows the photo to be re-sized.
