UNETSHA is a plug-in for extending security health check capabilities and interoperability with third-party endpoint security solutions on the Microsoft NAP platform. It enables more granular network access control in an enterprise-wide NAP implementation that includes heterogeneous network Terminals such as Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Application Examples Administrators can add the following rules to their network access policies in regards to compliance. * Quarantine PCs trying to open particular ports used by known worms * Send Warning messages to incompliant user terminals that are not running required software or are running banned software. * Required software: security client, GroupWare client, etc. * Banned software: P2P, online trading, gambling programs, etc. * Check and modify registry values (or INI files that contain configuration information) to enforce application patch installations * Migrate Windows Server 2003 NAQC to Windows Sever 2008 NAP to maintain legacy Remote Access Control * Control terminals attaching mass storage devices (CD writers or USB drives) to protect against information leaks. This includes heterogeneous terminals (i.e. Linux, Mac) on the Microsoft NAP platform.
