CalcIT`s basic layout is easy to read with large, color-coordinated buttons, and mode indicators for degrees/radians/Gradients and Decimal/Hex/binary modes. The usual scientific and memory buttons are present, and multiple levels of nested parentheses are supported. A variety of quick numeric conversions Between the English and metric systems are available. Fractions mode lets you work directly in fractions rather than decimal. This is handy for people who, like me, often work with recipes or woodworking designs.The display is customizable in three ways. First, many of the keys have keyboard shortcuts, which can be displayed above the keys as shown below. The remaining keys can be activated with their keyboard counterparts, so you can use CalcIT without the mouse.You can also show the secondary functions for the green function buttons.Both keyboard shortcuts and secondary functions can be shown at the same time.Finally, if you don`t like the color scheme, you can choose a different background. The Highlight color for the keyboard shortcuts and secondary functions will automatically be calculated for contrast.
