Description - Automatic NT4 Logon

Under Windows 2000 you can choose to skip the login step at boot, by automatically logging in with a specific user. Under Windows NT4 this feature is absent, and you always need to logon everytime you start the computer. This can be annoying if you are the only user of your computer. The Famous Tweak UI by Microsoft allows you to automatically logon the next time you start the computer, and does this by adding some special keys in the registry. The problem is that those keys are deleted by the system after they are used once, so Tweak UI only allows you to automatically logon only the next time: then you have to use Tweak UI again (thing which is actually more annoying that logging in the standard way). Hence comes Automatic NT4 Logon. The technique is similar to that of Tweak UI but Automatic NT4 Logon will set a Link to itself in the Start Menu -> Startup folder so that at each system startup it gets called and will transparently add the keys back in the registry again. The result is that Windows NT4 will automatically logon forever, until you run the program again to disable this or to change user. The application is freeware, but before using it please make sure that security is not critical on your system. Any user who can access the registry will see the username and password for the next boot in clear text. This application has ZERO warranties. Use at your own risk. The application requires no installation, but if you have the Autologon enabled and then you change the application folder you have to disable and Re-Enable the autologon so that the link in Start Menu -> Startup folder gets updated.
