The main function of this application is to remove Thunderbird from the taskbar while still having it run in the background, so to speak. When Thunderbird is "hidden" it will still be checking for email at the time specified in your Thunderbird settings. This is perfect for those who like to leave Thunderbird open all the time (or for a moderate amount of time) and want some taskbar room back!
