Spamnix

Spamnix for Eudora is a plug-in for Qualcomm Eudora that blocks unwanted spam email. Once you install it, it automatically runs whenever Eudora runs. There are no separate programs to worry about or additional windows cluttering up your screen. Spamnix is a learning-based spam Blocker. When first installed, it does not know what you consider spam. You teach it how to recognize spam by providing examples of both spam and non-spam messages; you can provide it individual message or entire mailboxes as examples. Every time it makes a mistake on new mail, you "re-train" it on the incorrectly categorized message. Soon, Spamnix will identify almost every message correctly. Accuracy of well over 99% is typical. Spamnix checks for spam automatically each time you download mail. All spam is transfered to a special mailbox called "Junk" (with Eudora 5, it is called _Junk). At your Leisure, you can then Review the blocked spam and delete it all at once; this is much FASTER than having to deal with it every time you read new mail. Or, if you want, you can configure Spamnix simply to delete all spam immediately.
