NetChronometer will synchronize the date and time of your Macintosh with a highly accurate network time server over the internet. You can even set up NetChronometer to synchronize with the time server periodically, for unattended operation. And, because it`s an application, you can easily free up the memory consumed by NetChronometer just by quitting the application. Apple`s Time Synchronizer (first included in Mac OS 8.5) installs a background extension that consumes 176k of memory all the time.
