This system allows you to cost out and manage a job or project and supply a tender or quote, or you can use it to do pure costing. An ideal tool for anybody involved in manufacturing, construction, or service industries. Even restaurant Chefs have used this system to cost out recipes!Setting up the system - Once your suppliers, materials, discounts have been captured, the fun part starts. The fun part is that no calculations need to be done. The system will do all the calculations for you and list your final unit price for you. Tables listed below are not fixed in stone and can be altered afterwards.Suppliers: address, contact info.Clients: name, contact info.Plant: description and Hourly rate.Labour: labour type and hourly rate.Sundries: additional cost items : accommodation etc.Projects: contains project info and markup. If doing item costing, set yourself up as a client, with ID 999, and enter your item (ie. recipes) here.BillofQty: Make up the costing structure for each project or item that is being costed.Materials: material info, pricing, markup, supplier discount structures and stock control items.SubCompnt: material sub - components, pricing, supplier discount structures and items contained.Reports - Prints Bill of Quantity or Tender report summary, with the optional inclusion of VAT or GST, that can optionaly be e-mailed to the client. HardCopy PrintOut are also available for each of the tables listed in the configuration above. Special print style options allow you to prepare the report for exporting to spreadsheet programs like Microsoft`s Excel program.
