Description - Business Knowledge System - A computer program for the collection and organization of business notes.

Business Knowledge System (TM) is a computer program for the collection and organization of information. Using the hypertext model, it allows the user to add notes about things of Interest and ReLaTe those notes to other notes. This collection becomes a Knowledge Base extending the user`s memory and providing a mechanism for examining topics of interest in greater detail than is possible without automated assistance. The Knowledge System provides a natural, easy to use index into the web, other applications and their files, paper files, collectables or anything of interest to the system user. The Knowledge System also supports Daily Diary, time tracking, task tracking, problem tracking, project management, problem management, reminder lists, and structured knowledge base development. Over time, this information can provide a tangible record of an individual`s or organization`s experience. The resulting Knowledge Base may be shared with users on other copies of the Knowledge System for browsing and authorized modification using TCP/IP over a Local Area Network or over an Intranet or the Internet by using the Remote Sharing Option (TM). Knowledge System users may also have electronic meetings using the Group Discussion Feature (TM) using a virtual private network over the Internet. Business Knowledge System also includes administrative functions to define and configure a shared Knowledge Base System. Business Knowledge System may be run in standalone mode or in system mode.
