Windows Version Information Component

Programmatically retrieves operating system-specific information. Determine processor speed and type. Determine operating system version (including build) numbers and names. Distinguishes Between versions of Windows with and without service packs. Retrieve the operating system in standard text or pre-defined constant formats. Useful for code where different calls are made (e.g. calls to WinAPI functions) for different operating systems. Can be used with any ActiveX-compliant programming language and ships with context-sensitive help detailing all the available properties, methods and events.
